I wonder the same. For example what happened to LTC? it looks like it was building a lot or pressure, but what happened to a real take off?! BTC totally separated itself now?
@travellereleven, BTC is the standard, it is Gold. Think about supply (21 mil BTCs only) and demand (every drug dealer and dirty politician wants to have it to hide his money from the system and every housewife also wants a small piece of it because she saw a YouTube video) .
so, demand is strong, supply is limited, price goes up (until governments decide to say it's illegals, which is not happening atm but it could happen eventually).
What is Litecoin Ethereum and Ripple? I am not sure..They are 'the same' but without these advantages.
