STOP reading #TradingView if you are genuinely looking for answers.
I know you intuitively feel like there's something wrong with all these charts, ideas and patterns. They seem so promising! Besides, who are these people?
"Just the facts, ma'am, these are the facts," everyone says to you. Let me ask you a question. How come, if raising and RSIs are supposedly the golden standard of trading, 90% of traders lose money? How come the seemingly prospecting ideas on #TradingView always fail?
That's because patterns and wishful thoughts are appealing to your mind. Your mind wants to seek patterns, wants to find a standing ground, wants to rationalize its conclusions. Don't fight it. This is deeply encoded into your DNA. This is how your mind, your ego, stays alive. Notice that.
Start paying more attention to yourself, not the charts.
I'm sure you'll find a strategy that works. But the greater question is, how do you interpret the data? If you think about it, that's all that trading is. Trading is you evaluating the information given. Every strategy, every chart, every decision is nothing but information; amount and consistency.
You'll see thousands of charts LIKE THIS on TradingView. They are nothing but direct evaluations of the past, and, while you can find meaning and value in them, they gives you no solid foundation. It may seem like you're grounded in facts, when in fact you're betting - going "all in" - on the past. Patterns and . What I'm asking you to do is to turn inwards.
Most likely, you're here reading through opinions and ideas because you yourself lack the knowledge needed to execute a trade. Notice that. Start wondering. Start asking. "Was I, perhaps, along with thousands of other people, deceived into thinking into something that isn't true? Was I wrong from the get-go? More importantly, how can I gain perspective?
Also notice that seemingly everyone on #TradingView focuses their attention "outwards" - propels their thoughts onto the chart because that's where the action happens. Nobody EVER treats psychology as an important part of a trader's life, because, remember, "The facts, ma'am, just give me the raw facts."
If you want to change how your perceive information, start by changing yourself.
Trade with LOVE, PASSION and PURPOSE.
