I algorithmically call bear market botom at $1978

Bitcoin / U.S. DollarGemini

Description

Don't take this as an advice, a prediction, or anything valuable whatsoever.
I've been working for a year on machine learning trading bots.
One of them is meant to predict exact tops and bottoms of markets. Useless by itself and rather not very reliable (That's one of my first experience).
That said, it seems rather confident this time ("it" doesn't seem anything, it's lines of codes that make my GPU output a matrix. but I want actual non-coders humans to be able to actually get what I'm writing. Though I don't see who would care).

My goal here is to keep a track of predictions to be able to brag on something tangible if ever it went correct :).

In other words, don't take that as... anything really. And if you're still reading at this point, you must really like me...
I feel the same about you total stranger <3

experiments * not experience. I believe it totally doesn't mean the same thing (experiment in French is "experience", and well, I'm French)

Awesome set-up. Very informative!

@TraderAvDM, Wait for the actual good stuff, I'm working on a set of tools that detect trendlines, patterns, Elliott waves, key levels, and a bunch of indicators (also, convergences and divergences between them)
QuantumPotato
@vroum666, Also, it will post on TV by itself :)

sure its interesting to read about algo calcutated probabilities. on which tpye of data is this based if you could explain in layman terms?
ginoludik
*calculated

@ginoludik, This one makes a polynomial regression (in human, it makes the market signal smooth with an arbitrary number of up and downs on a given interval) then deduces "waves". Or moves from a low to a high, (or high to low).

This predictor is more or less similar to machine learning models that predict the next word of a sentence, but it's given waves instead of words.
It tries and predict the next waves. Here, if it's right, the three waves I've drawn should be the very end of this bear market.

(That's the most human I'm able to express myself in)

That said I've made tremendous progress still this one. This prediction is mostly anecdotal.

All the best

Does this algo takes into account the upcoming btc halving in mid-May?
QuantumPotato
@lucamodena, Nope, only pure market action
QuantumPotato
@vroum666, Which, I'd believe, may be misleading given the halving and... well... the freaking worldwide disaster movie pandemic situation...
