Looking for breakouts with Bitfinex data won't work anymore. If Tether goes to 50c, Bitfinex charts will show a BTC price of $12000 but the real USD price will still be $6000.
That's what that spike the other day on Bitfinex to $7788 was. Tether dropped to 85c. Real USD price was $7788 x 0.85 = $6620.
