Bitcoin turns bullish: 100K short-term, $120000-$125000 in sight

3 254
This is only the start. It is very wise to adapt to what is happening rather than fighting the market. Bitcoin is going up. This is finally confirmed through the charts and price action. The entire Cryptocurrency market is set to grow really strong.

Support is no longer in question. Last week Bitcoin produced the best session since April 2025, almost a year ago. Only one "final barrier" remains for a very strong rise... The April 2025 low price and resistance zone around $74,500. When this level breaks, full blown bullish validated—yet, a major advance is already unfolding and confirmed.

The first resistance where Bitcoin will feel-find some sellers pressure is $85,000 but this isn't a major level. Looking at the weekly timeframe, it is very easy to see a challenge of even higher prices. It is all based on how the market is currently doing.

After zero bullish action, Bitcoin has been trading green and closing green for 8 consecutive days. And this reveals that the bulls have entered the market with full force.

More than 500M worth of short positions have been liquidated in the past 48 hours, and this is only the start. The bears (sellers) being in denial is another major bullish signal. They will be in denial until Bitcoin hits 100K. And this takes us to our next target.

The main range sits between $95,000 to $100,000. This is a level to watch out for. At this juncture, BTCUSDT will find tons of selling because this is the mid-January price high.

How did we get here?

Bear market or bull market; these are only terms we use to describe a certain state of the market, it doesn't define what happens with Bitcoin, finance and the world at large. The forces that drive the market are many and varied, it is not as simple as "it must go down to a certain price for a certain length of time because I say so." It doesn't work that way.

What got us here was a failure to break resistance.

Bitcoin consolidated for more than 8 months within a wide range in late 2024. This consolidation period launched the move that ended with the previous all-time high.

Three times, three attempts to break resistance above $120,000 - $125,000 failed. And this failure to move above resistance called for a correction. The correction finds support at the previous consolidation range with a low of $60,000.

Now that support has been confirmed, Bitcoin is set to move to challenge resistance once more. Classic price action around resistance and support. This resistance stands not at $100,000 but at the all-time high, where the last triple-top occurred. A range of $120,000 to $125,000.

Now, there is strong resistance all along the way. The minimum though is below $100,000 for the current bullish wave. After this level gets challenged, we adapt to the chart and go step by step.

The altcoins are about to start a major bull market. I will share more news, more charts and more updates... Always wishing for you the best.

Thank you for reading.

Bitcoin is making its first stop after 8 consecutive days closing green. The final barrier, a price resistance of $74,500 April 2025), has been challenged and a rejection is in place short-term. What to expect next? Is this the end or will Bitcoin continue higher?

First, we are looking at a very young week and this needs more time to develop. See here the chart: snapshot

If we want to know more about the short-term, where Bitcoin turns bearish or how likely it is to continue bullish, see the update from 15-March:
Bitcoin daily update (15-March 2026)

Bitcoin first moved above EMA34 4-March to see a rejection the next day. Then again it moved and closed above 12-March and then closed 13 and 14 above this level. The action starts bullish 15-March 2026 as Bitcoin is trading safely above EMA34.

Notice the action continues to happen around resistance, the orange space on the chart. Notice the green space, this is the final support zone. This level remains unchallenged. Resistance becomes weaker with each passing day.

Bitcoin is bullish right now based on the daily timeframe.

If the trading moves and closes below the November 2021 high, a price of $69,000, then the sideways range becomes active again. Not necessarily bearish but sideways, the same conditions we had for more than a month.

If Bitcoin moves below the April 2021 high, around $64,000, then bearish potential becomes active.

The bulls have the upper-hand. Yesterday Bitcoin produced the second highest close since the 6-February crash. The first one being 4-March at $72,666 and yesterday (14-March) at $71,212.

Any and all trading above $70,000 should be considered extremely bullish.

The longer Bitcoin trades above $70,000, the riskier it becomes for the bears; better for the bulls.

Only a sudden drop, and close, below $69,000 can active any kind of bearish consideration. Still, extremely bullish above $65,500 which is right below the previous higher low.

Market conditions continue to improve and we are getting some positive signals from the altcoins. Not 1,000% bullish but it is already starting after more than a month of consolidation at bottom prices.

When Bitcoin moves above $74,000, we will see 1B or 1.2B worth of short positions liquidated. This will signal the start of the next major bullish wave. It is already underway, but this development is needed to confirm maximum bullish momentum and sustained growth.

$85,000 is the minimum target on this chart setup. Higher is possible.

Thanks a lot for your continued support.

BTC: Differing cycles, 2017 vs 2021 vs 2025—2018 vs 2022 vs 2026

This is the last article of this series. I want to show you the patterns of each Bitcoin cycle.

Are all the cycles identical?

Is Bitcoin new in each and every cycle?

Will the same pattern continue to repeat forever?

Let's answer these questions by going back to 2017. We will look at first the last three bull markets followed by the last two bear markets.

1) The 2017 bullish cycle was composed of one single move, an extended bullish wave—a parabola. (These are rough drawings): snapshot

A perfect transition can be seen from bear to bull, 2017 to 2018 (a blow-off top).

The bearish cycle produces first a diagonal line, then horizontal then vertical (straight down). As will be seen, this was a unique bear market.

2) The 2021 bullish cycle produced a different pattern, it had a two steps sequence. From a low point in 2018 developed the first jump, ending July 2019. This move was corrected to a low in March 2020 which started the final advance all the way to 2021. 2021 ended with a double-top. snapshot

Notice the difference between 2017 and 2021.

The ensuing bearish market, 2022, was also of a different size and shape. Here we see a curve and one single decline until the final low. There are no straight lines.

3) The 2025 bullish cycle is also different. Here we have a 3-steps process. The market grows, consolidate this growth and then moves higher. It is the first time that Bitcoin retraces from an all-time high to land back at a major support zone. See the chart: snapshot

The bear market that followed is also completely different in shape and size. It would be hard to predict this bear market based on past history since each cycle produces a different pattern.

During each bear market previously, Bitcoin would have to create a new support level as there was never any consolidation on the way up. It is different in 2026. The 2024 long-term consolidation zone worked as support on the way down. And here bearish action came to a halt.

Bitcoin produced five consecutive red months and the worst reading ever on many indicators. Everything points to the start now of a new bullish phase.

Conclusion

It is not that Bitcoin will perform differently in 2025-2026, Bitcoin always creates a new pattern. Market conditions are always changing.

We cannot expect the present to be the same as the past, this has never happened before.

Instead of looking at the past in order to predict the future, we have to focus on current price action, the potential of the current chart.

Bitcoin found support clearly, and this can result in bullish action, a test of resistance comes next.

I think the main question that needs to be addressed right now is: will Bitcoin crash next?

Not likely. It is highly probable that Bitcoin continues to to move higher right away.

When looking at the chart short-term, hourly or daily, anything can happen and Bitcoin looks doubtful. The first thing that is seen is a possibility of lower prices. This type of doubt banishes immediately when looking at the long-term chart, weekly timeframe.

Coinbase Global, Inc. (COIN) turning bullish works as a bullish confirmation for Bitcoin.

When looking at Bitcoin on the weekly timeframe, immediately we think that the week is young. We have five days left to break resistance, the April 2025 low, and also to produce a green candle close. This is very easy to achieve I should say.

The altcoins market continues to heat up, and with this small amount of information, we know Bitcoin will continue to grow. A strong advance is already confirmed through marketwide action. See some examples below (what one does, the rest follows):
