This is a change from their policy which banned it in March 2018. Starting on August 3rd, 2021 Google will allow exchanges and wallets to advertise crypto and crypto products.
This is a major turning point of the market imo - the number of people who will now casually see ads that never did before will be an order of magnitude higher.
i dont think there will be a pump, news already went throught and market corrected for that news, bitcoin could go up from when they implement it but it wont go up straight away it will take time until new people come in to market

@ergashibragimov1982, Market is extremely short-sighted. News often re-emerges and pumps with more vigor the closer the action becomes realized... it all depends and I highly doubt this is priced in considering no one traded it when it originally surfaced and it wasn't even really mentioned that much.
It will become a bigger and bigger event as it builds adoption and as google actually launches the service and billions of people are now exposed - a certain percentage of those billions will now be buying spot - this is a pretty huge event and was the major catalyst why the 2018 bull run ended - had google kept the policy it may have extended the bullrun by another year.
It was also well known that Elon never sold his bitcoin or TSLA's bitcoin - or at least was easily deduced - yet when he came out to say it verbally, the market pump from 29K to 40k in a matter of days... news has different impacts and sometimes pumps much harder when it's totally realized by the market - no one is thinking about google ads at this point.

@ich1baN, you could be right, good pump happened, went in to early for the short 40500 :P lets see if it breaks the 42000, if it doesnt ill be fine
