Ok. Be weary of a big bounce here if you haven't taken profit yet... Keep those margins and your general position hedged. (Not even sure if I'm using that word right at this stage)
Basically, I have long and short positions open balanced towards short. As I take profit going doen, ill take the loss which is lesser in btc giving me a net BTC profit on the way down. In FIAT value, this is held at around the initial investment level.
The idea is, once the bottom is hit, and you've been inflating your holdings in terms of BTC, and we start going up again, you will start getting some pretty insane growth on your starting FIAT entry the market as a whole.
An old friend who I fear is long lost taught me the basic in which I have taught myself. As much as it pains me to say this, the desire to surpass my master drives me..

also, i'm sorry about the loss of your close friend, perhaps rather than surpass, just be MORE of him each day and you will surpass your own self in the most steadfast of ways. Your friend taught you well and i'm sure he would appreciate that you are sharing what you've learned from him with others. :)

@caboodle, Oh it wasn't a death. He scammed me for 60btc and disappeared... Doesn't change the fact that I still respect him for teaching me what I know. Hate the guy until he comes to me with at least an explanation of what's going. If anthing, I'm trying to get that 60btc back from 0.05btc just outa spite xD

hey there, do you know an exchange that let's US residents short BTC, BitMex doesn't allow US residents to use their site, at least not last time i checked.... thx!
@caboodle, just be carefull shorting like RIGHT NOW, this could bounce back up.. that MAY have been the floor.. Chances are it wasn't and were coming back here in like a week or so to try again.
