CHF: Index chart Short

(CHFEUR+CHFGBP+CHFUSD+CHFAUD+CHFCAD+CHFNZD+CHFJPY/100)/7ICE

Description

Weekly and daily paint a bearish picture for the Swiss franc overall.
It's interesting to see how well time at mode has mapped the different moves, timing or predicting price and time levels.
Next week after the close a weekly uptrend signal will have expired, but the interesting part is that the target has been exceeded and an interesting high might have been reached.
I'm long GBPCHF, but might consider adding other short CHF trades next week.
Negative rates, plus the SNB wanting to devaluate their currency is an interesting feature, for potential carry trades that might set up here.
Cheers,
Ivan.

I sold chfjpy short at 133.655, now at break even stop after covering 75% when my target was reached.
I'm looking to re-short the correction to ride it down into the next target area.

Placed short at 132.576, partial tp at 131.564.

Downtrend started!
Sold CHFJPY and bought AUDCHF and GBPCHF.

Two days for the CHF major reversal date.
I'm in two short CHF trades already, very early entry...GBPCHF and AUDCHF longs.

CADCHF looks like a buy now.
Stop under the mode, preferrably a wide one.

Hi, what do you think about following the FXF for an indication on the overall picture of the CHF pairs? Thanks!
IvanLabrie
Looks like too low liquidity, I think it's best to just analyze the FX pairs. Gaps and whatnot, not my cup of tea.

Couple of days ago you were pretty bearish USDCHF.
How has that changed?
IvanLabrie
The Swiss franc seems to be weaker than most currencies, after the SNB induced earthquake. I excluded that gap down from the chart.
All CHF pairs look very similar, so, I assume the moves here are determined by chf strength or weakness, more than by the other currencies.
I never presented a long term forecast, I just trade, and that implies keeping a constantly changing viewpoint and jumping on opportunities in my view, and not marrying a forecast, with your ego at stake.
The times I did that, I lost big.

Very true, the difference between forecasting and trading is a whole lot of $$$. Great basket here, really captures the outlook we are seeing for every CHF associated pair.
