CHFJPY | Perspective for the new week | Follow-up details

Short
darcsherry Updated
FX:CHFJPY   Swiss Franc / Japanese Yen
After testing its highest point since 1980 - just right above the 151.00 area last week, the CHFJPY lost over 600 pips to signal a risk of further decline as projected in my previous analysis on this pair (see link below for reference purposes). Will the BoJ's intervention in the FX market signal a boost for the Yen in the coming week(s)? This video illustrates the trading option I am looking forward to in the coming week(s).

Comment:
I continue to monitor price action as the price appears to be caught within a consolidation phase. Waiting for a signal in the form of a breakdown or breakout of channel.

Good morning
Comment:
BoJ Monetary Policy Meeting Minutes coming up in 3 hours.
How is this event going to affect the Japanese Yen?
Trade active:
After a successful breakout of the channel at 146.500; awaiting a selling opportunity within the sell window appears to be more appropriate here with the hopes of joining the bearish signal incited last week. If you had taken advantage of the counter-trend (buy opportunity) following the breakout of channel - kudos to you.

Trade active:
Following the multiple rejections of the sell window, the price has continued to move in the proposed direction as I plan to add more positions at the breakdown/retest of the 16.500.

Good morning
Trade active:
Selling options still look valid as I continue to witness selling pressure from the identified sell window.

Good morning
Trade active:
120 pips in profit as attempts of rejecting the 146.500 zone by buyers is noticed.

Good night and happy weekend
