- China’s annual inflation rate edged up to 0.8% in December 2025 from 0.7% in November, marking its highest print since February 2023 but still below consensus of 0.9%.
Food prices rose the most in 14 months, while non-food inflation held steady.
Meantime, producer prices fell 1.9% YoY, easing to the mildest pace since August 2024 while logging a 39th straight month of decline.
