DAX: ECB said no Euroepan QE at horizon Short

DAX PERFORMANCE-INDEXINDEX

Description

ECB President said that there was no European QE at the horizon. Draghi is more worried about the inflation target of ECB and the terms to achieve it for the time being. If EU economy was as good as one could read in the media, then there would have been a natural inflation of 1.5 % as an average of the Eurozone, and ECB would have had to react by increasing the interest rate which is not the case.
On the other hand, an expensive euro against USD is harming EU's competitiveness. And overall, ECB Preisdent underline the tools of interest rate as a leverage during the CB Summit in Lisbon. therefore, when market was expecting a European QE, there will be no EU QE and a probable decrease if the interest rate that could harm German economy on a medium term. And overall, after having reinvest there dividend in the market, investor will have to wait and see the next move.
