DECK Double Chinchilla Bounce Uptrend

148
This is an informative, storytelling method to explain my idea. In this particular pattern, we encounter 2 chinchillas, or the 'Double Chinchilla' Bounce Uptrend. They are both ready to bounce or spring upwards.

This analysis involves complex technical analysis and chart patterns, which I’ll explain from the perspective of a chinchilla. (And yes, being a chinchilla owner adds a playful twist to my approach to trading.) It's also a method for understanding how a stock works, as almost if has 'breath' allowing some up and down movement, as it moves up.

Highlights:
- Manufacturer of HOKA and UGG brand shoes
- Earnings & revenues strong
- Strong forward guidance
- More share buyback approved

In summary: Deckers Outdoor Corporation (DECK) provides great consumer brand names both in USA and internationally.

RYW_Method research and analysis identifies DECK is well-positioned to gain growth through this year.

Target 1: 108 Paws
Target 2: 127 Nose
Target 3: 141 Eyes
Target 4: 155 Ears, from 1st Chinchilla
Target 5: 176+ Ears, from 2nd Chinchilla [*2 X-Large Tail Power]

* Exercise caution, as 2 chinchillas can bounce to unpredictable vertical heights, before a drop back down. And, these targets are not time-based, expect 'pullbacks/breathing' on the way up. [Recommend taking profits each Target level.]

Trading will fail if the paws drop below Trend Line: 71

I appreciate the opportunity to share this story, my observations on the stock, and my predictions. Please note, this is not financial advice.
Note
5/21/2026, Thursday PM research update: you may ask: "why did this DECK chinchilla go up immediately with their earning report this evening, then settle back to about 102?" In summary:

1) DECK management attributed the contraction to higher freight costs from shipping disruptions due to the Middle East conflict, raw material inflation, and the expected persistence of the 10% tariff without timely government reimbursements.

2) While praised for transparency on industry challenges, the stock market frequently penalizes companies based on valuations instead of global economic conditions.

[**Update: because of this response by DECK management, we are revising our Targets to only the "Eyes" by the end of 2026, and if better news arrives, then these initial targets could be reached by end of 2026, or by mid 2027.***]
Note
5/23/26 Saturday: In 2 days, this chinchilla approached Target 1. Friday saw a 3.95% gain, closing at 106.67/share. Let's monitor the DECK chinchilla next week! Have a fantastic weekend!
Note
6/14/26 Sunday: DECK chinchilla is in the 'extended paws' position. Let's see if either this coming week or next he can breakout above the 117, then the 123/share prices. If so, he will be on his way to bounce upwards, and if not... well, more accumulation phase before the 'leap' up. Time will tell and patience.
Note
6/26/26, Friday: Summary of the stock market chinchilla bounce trader analysis: When stocks fluctuate, ask, "Why not?" Large investors rely on our capital, but we can't predict their moves. Exiting a losing position leads to a loss; view dips as buying opportunities. Research thoroughly, as low prices don’t guarantee quality. Invest gradually to keep cash available for optimal buys. Patience, persistence, and prayer help us remain confident in the market and our lives.
