Volatility Straddle on Comey, UK-Election and ECB

GERMAN STOCK INDEX (DAX)TVC

Description

For this week there are two bigger Events and one major events schelduled.

- ECB monetary decission
- Comey / Trump testimony
- UK election result.

The volatility is going to raise on each of this three events. The short-term strategie is straddle, means to buy put and call options same time.

Finally it will me not a straddle straigh like know in definition. Calls and Puts will not have same size and they probably are not bought at the same time.

Comment

Remark: This trade will be made with another trader using a small number of extreme high leveraged OTC options. The put option to short the DAX was scheduled to buy this morning but we need to wait until the required broker account is ready for trading. We are going to use special OTC options for small traders. The trading hours are extended from 8 am in the morning until 10pm. This will be a joined one time trade together with a talented oversea trader.

Comment

The schedueled put option should had been sold now with a net gain of 100%. As said before this are extreme high leveraged OTC products for retail traders with short maturity of just 6 left trading days. In this case we are still waiting for the opening of the broker account.
