DOT Approaches the Final Barrier — Breakout or Rejection?

328
This chart shows a long-term downtrend that is still controlled by the Descending Trendline. The current price is around $0.93 and is approaching the intersection between the descending trendline and the horizontal resistance at $1.00, making this a very important area for determining the next major move.

---

📉 Pattern: Descending Trendline

🔻 The Descending Trendline is formed by connecting a series of Lower Highs (LH) since the September–October 2025 peak.

As long as price remains below this trendline:

➡️ The overall structure remains bearish
➡️ Every rally could potentially form another relief rally / lower high
➡️ A valid breakout is required to shift the bearish structure toward a bullish one.

However, price has now returned close to the trendline after recovering from the $0.75–$0.80 area, making a potential breakout increasingly important to watch.

---

🟢 BULLISH SCENARIO — Breakout

🚀 Main trigger: DOT successfully breaks above and closes strongly above the Descending Trendline, preferably with increasing volume.

🎯 Resistance & Targets

1️⃣ $1.00 — First Breakout Confirmation
A psychological level and the nearest horizontal resistance. A breakout above $1.00 would provide an early indication that buyers are beginning to take control.

2️⃣ $1.25 — First Major Target
If the breakout holds, price could potentially move toward the next resistance around $1.25.

3️⃣ $1.38 — Intermediate Resistance
An important resistance area where profit-taking or a temporary pullback could occur.

4️⃣ $1.66 — Major Target
A move toward this area would indicate that the recovery is becoming stronger and that the long-term bearish structure is beginning to weaken significantly.

5️⃣ $2.22 — Major Upside Target 🎯
This is the major horizontal resistance shown on the chart and represents a more aggressive bullish target if DOT can maintain momentum after the breakout.

📈 Bullish Structure

Trendline Breakout → Break $1.00 → Retest → Continuation → $1.25 → $1.38 → $1.66 → $2.22

💡 The retest is extremely important. If the previous resistance trendline successfully turns into support, the breakout would have significantly stronger confirmation.

---

🔴 BEARISH SCENARIO — Rejection

⚠️ The bearish scenario remains valid as long as DOT fails to break above the Descending Trendline.

If price gets rejected around the trendline and the $1.00 resistance, sellers could regain control.

📉 Potential structure:

Trendline Rejection → Failure to Break $1.00 → Lower High → Selling Pressure → Retest $0.85–$0.75

If the previous lows are eventually broken, bearish pressure could increase further, potentially opening the way toward $0.66–$0.63, which is close to the low area visible on the chart.

🔑 KEY LEVELS TO WATCH

🟡 $1.00 → Resistance / breakout confirmation
🟡 $1.25 → Resistance & first target
🟡 $1.38 → Intermediate resistance
🟡 $1.66 → Major resistance / bullish target
🟡 $2.22 → Major upside target
🔻 $0.85–$0.75 → Support area
🔻 $0.66–$0.63 → Major downside area / historical low zone

---

🧠 Conclusion

DOT is currently approaching a very critical zone, as price moves closer to the Descending Trendline that has capped upside movements throughout the previous bearish trend.

📉 Below the trendline: The bearish structure remains dominant.

🟢 Breakout + close above the trendline and $1.00: Could signal an early shift in momentum and open the path toward $1.25 → $1.38 → $1.66 → $2.22.

🔴 Rejection from the trendline + failure to reclaim $1.00: Could result in another lower high and renewed bearish pressure toward the lower support areas.

🔥 The key is not simply touching the trendline — the real confirmation comes from a clean breakout and successful retest.
