DVN breaking out of its bull flag. Materials, commodities, financials are looking strong for the next while. Mid cap play here but oil should continue to do well over next 12-24 months with inflation and consumption expectations. If you want safer, CVX, XOM, and many others are good with bigger dividends.
I like this, but the one thing that worries me, the oil stocks lagging behind the price of oil, full disclosure, I have DVN $29 Dec calls, however, when oil was 73 a barrel in Jul 2018, DVN was at 34 dollars or so, we got some catching up to do and I hope it does!!!! But i always buy 29 dec calls on red days and sell on nice green days, been using that strategy for months now... Good luck and nice write up!!!
