Hey, take a look at the cable, EURO, and Geppy chart. The massive move today was caused by ECB rate cut which effected major currencies, including greenback.

@LoLBeach, DXY represents the value or the greenback "RELATIVE to a basket of foreign currrencies". Euro cutting rate is a big event as the Fed rate cut and that devaluated value of EURO, which increases the relative value of the dollar. EURO went down to 1.09272 which is lowest of EURO in two years creating huge demand zone (Support) and that drove EURO to recover the value.

@LoLBeach, To me yes it makes sense, I mostly trade GBP /EURO/ YEN and I usually open 4 charts including DXY. Their moves are incredibly related to each other
