One way of labeling a chart, the other is where you show 5 wave down around 88 handle is actually A of a larger C wherein b of A ended just under 104 handle. Then we progress downward in C, probably now in wave 5 of 3 in C, a terminal triangle could be developing with a thrust lower under recent lows but that would form an interim bottom wherein a larger B wave up would occur that would last weeks/months. Rising above recent highs of 93.99 without making new lows would be first indication 5 waves of 3 may be complete though the recent rise from 92.52 doesn't have an impulsive look, and looks too cute to be a double bottom as many believe it to be. After larger B of C ends then we should have 5 waves down in Wave 5 of C, whether or not it takes out the 88 handle is unknown but shouldn't be counted on. Ultimately that leads to a very significant low. Long term the dollar index should exceed it's all-time high. That's how I see it, you make your own decisions what the chart means and how to label it. I expect the long term trend of Cash($) is King will come into play after markets collapse, along with the precious metals which also sport a series of successive 3 wave rallies in it's own 5th wave of C even though Gold is at an all-time high. Given the excessive debt in US will make it unfathomable that the dollar should rise long term is even more reason why it will, I would say the Euro is equally at risk given recent developments in ECB. Long term trends tend to prevail as history repeats itself.

@Shortatwill, btc was 6200 a few months ago when I started buying, now 11700. Silver was 19 an oz a few weeks ago when I bought and now its almost 30.
