The vertical lines indicate the exact moment the price was affected by the major news that was published this previous week. As you can see the price bounces after each vertical line. That is because the USD news favored the DXY, although, this bounce didn't amount to much, the price re-visited Monday open at the end of the week.
We will have to wait for Sunday/Monday open - to see where DXY will settle before Tuesdays CORE CPI. That will give us a good direction into Wednesday FOMC.
