President Trump announced yesterday that he will be ending Canada’s 10% tariffs exemption in aluminum from 16 August, claiming that the increase in aluminum imports from Canada are hurting American aluminum producers. Shortly after, Canada responded with retaliatory tariffs on U.S. goods.
