I'm very new to crypto, but when the bears are making noise it is likely it has bottomed, and as seen in many smaller coins they have been getting into tighter coils for the past year. With all of the bearish sentiment towards coins, it is like that is now priced in, and crypto looks ready to rally based on the technicals. EOS in particular has a great setup as seen with the Squeeze indicator which is telling that a bigger move is coming. Crypto has been relatively quiet for a while now, so why can't it get some hype again. Personally, I have just begun using crypto for transactions and realized how much potential is there. Like I can send money directly from one gambling website to another without a credit card and that is just on some next level revolution type stuff. Also with the US Dollar weakening as the FED is going to allow inflation to rise and interest rates to stay low, people will begin to move assets around. Crypto will explode one day, why can't it be now.
