howdy dave. looking at this count, your wave ((w)) subdivides incorrectly. it should unfold as a 5-3-5 whereas you have it labeled as a 3-3-5. there's a few other issues i see as well. double zigzag for ((x)) doesn't look corrective at all, that whole structure looks impulsive.

@BlockSociety_COO, a corrective structure often disguises as a impulsive wave especially the x wave. The (w) wave is a zig zag so an 5-3-5 i dont know why you think it is a 3-3-5.
I think you need to read the book from prechter a few times to understand what the characteristics of the waves are before commenting on others.

@dave83, i meant no disrespect. just trying to show a different perspective. i've read the book plenty and have tested and passed the Certified Elliott Wave Analyst Exam from EWI.

@BlockSociety_COO, ok i thought you did....
if you started like you did above.... that you did not agree with me and that your bias is different, then my reaction would not have been like that.

If my count is off (against the EW rules) i love to hear that so i can adjust it.
I am always open for discussion and criticism and always love to see other perspectives

about the wave you labeled as wave 1 (the purple 1) and my x wave....
you think it looks impulsive, it maybe looks a bit impulsive because the price goes up fast. But when i look @ the subwaves (structure) of the wave 3 it looks very ugly it just does not have the good look imo.
The x wave or b wave is a false impuls wave

Your comment about the W wave ... i thought you where talking about the black W... but i think you meant the red one.
In that i think a zig-zag could be a better fit, i will check the lower tf's tomorrow to see if that is the case.
