EOS $50 price target

Running up to mainnet release and possible due to the mainnet release I am forecasting a $50 EOS price. This is based on a Log chart. This would "ONLY" be a 177% increase compared to the 1700%+ run its had since the initial ICO price of $0.99.

I would like to add a comment about the valuation of Crypto's and EOS in particular since this post is about EOS. Why I say that the valuation is absolutely nuts? Read this article*** about the upcoming IPO (yes I know, not an ICO) of a very large Chinese company: XIAOMI, one of the largest smartphone builders in China, going to list on the Hong Kong stock market and it's expected that the IPO will raise a staggering USD$100 BILLION (!!!) founded just 8 years ago in 2010. Now, that's serious money for a company with worldwide sales. To value a company like EOS that didn't deliver one single product yet should bring minds to work, realizing that $50 Billion for EOS is nonsense but, of course: I know, its all about crypto but I can't warn ALL of us enough: be careful with your hard earned money, The Crypto market could nose dive one day in just a few hours and you could lose a LOT of money! SO: take profits if you can and put a stop-loss into every coin if possible.
I've been around, investing, much longer than most of you and "been there, done that" so be warned.
Cheers and GOOD LUCK !
@LEO2003, You are comparing apples to oranges bringing traditional equities and IPO's into the picture. I don't disagree necessarily but I don't necessarily agree either. I would argue that the true value of ETH or BTC is really a fraction of what they are trading for. This is still an unknown space from a valuation standpoint because no one knows where it will really go and what kind of impact it will have.

I will agree with you in the fact that the crypto market can go to nothing very quickly but I wouldn't be here if that was the case. You can't get this kind of risk exposure anywhere else but crypto!

@ConnorStahmer, I'm NOT comparing apples with oranges. Business is business whether "old" traditional companies or new technology and valuing a company that has NOT delivered anything yet but valued at an absurd high $50 Billion ($50/coin as you as OP mentioned) on a crazy speedy train is very dangerous and not realistic. YET, we're all enjoying the train ride but memory of many is short, or wasn't the nightmare of BTC gong up to $20,000 and back to $6.000 not creating disasters and mega losses by investors who didn't see it coming?
Exactly 1 year ago a mere TOTAL of $44.6 Billion was invested in Crypto currencies and early Jan 2018 it was already a staggering $800+ Billion but NOW -just 4 months later- YOU value EOS at $50 Billion (if the price is $50/coin ?
Really? Even at $17,6 Billion right now, it's not realistic. Let's be a bit more sensible and not hyping with all the lemmings...
@LEO2003, I'm just arguing that nothing is realistic. So what's the point of trying to bring reality into the picture? It's like describing something that can't be described. There's no point.

Luckily I only put my dollars into EOS and ETH and I took the opportunity to keep buying during the 3 month crash. I bought way back almost a year ago because there was potential in EOS and still is. If it can effectively compete with ETH it will be $50. mark it! If there is reasonable suspicion to believe that they can compete with ETH, regardless of working product or not, the price will move towards $50 because that is the expectation.

Lastly, I don't agree with your statement that business is business. In crypto there are no financial statements, regulations, accounting standards, earnings, cash flows, productivity measures, financial ratios, or really anything that matches a traditional business. It will probably evolve towards that but it's an entirely trust-less model. Valuations are as such unknown.

There's too much ambiguity to say anything with certainty. Overvalued or undervalued. Time will tell but I appreciate the debate!
LEO2003 ConnorStahmer
@ConnorStahmer, I wasn't bringing the competition into the discussion and not talking about EOS vs ETH. I held both also but stepped away from EOS but it was not personal. Just my investing views. My point is the valuation, and not just EOS's but all crypto's although I don't mind making money with cryptos, which is not realistic and absurd.
But I certainly like the debate also and it's nice talking to you, with respect. Cheers
I don't see TA here, just based on your opinion?
The $15,9 BILLION (!) for EOS right at this very moment is based upon a lot of hype and not facts nor assets nor a proven product; please keep that in mind. There are coins/tokens out there which have already a proven product BEFORE the MainNet, like VEN (in 2nd part of June) for instance; yet they're fairly "priced" at $2,5 Billion but have a very solid management, superior products already implemented and selling, next to a worldwide very powerful partners.
@LEO2003, I don't see why anyone cares, EOS is crushing it for one reason or another. If you have other conviction, that's great too. To call something fairly priced is a pretty big assumption.
LEO2003 ConnorStahmer
@ConnorStahmer, Yes, I think VEN is fairly priced (at $2.7 Billion) VERSUS EOS (now almost $15 Billion but no results yet)...VEN is also going to MainNet in 2nd half of June. Small trading vs EOS and that's because more than 50% of the tokens is locked up with major investors in their X Node project but maybe you didn't follow VEN?...And VEN has already big clients with many products functioning on the real economy. Check their website.
@LEO2003, but what do you base fair price of 2.7 billion off of?? is it a sales multiple, discounted cash flow, or maybe 12x earnings? Nope, its all hype and speculation any way you slice it.

It's awesome that you are on the VEN train, best of luck to you. I might have to check it out!
