@Eloquent, yes it can be. still a gap on 1H at 393 for spy, I guess it can still make one more hh to complete 5 swings and pb to fill the gap as a nest. that will be a trap for sure. it is that solid marubozu candle 4H, taking dec 9th highs, and rsi hh on 4H that made me see it the other way. ty for fast reply. great chat :)

@Eloquent, I can see that. I hv DX to 100 level as well, although it may be still in wave 3 because we went past 1.618 fib ext from the top 3 waves and rsi is still snaking around. I still think your first count on ES is spot on i.e. resembling DAX, FTSE and DJI parabolic move as expanded flat and we are currently nesting in wave C as impulse rather than abc.

@juveparmalat, i'm not against it, it's whatever goes in this bear market ~ just taking it a day at a time + juggling all the potential scenarios while i stick to my short term scalps + swings
