Incentive to close is probably high in the US, given all the volatility, PLUS, IMO, the news was par, not panic. I like the topic of your post, but volume was only par. What about that? How do you conclude, "not anymore?"
Valuations are high, likely high teens approaching terminal, in theory, but companies are warning, which my instinct says is EIP and these warnings are great examples of management of expectations to beat. I read that as level.
I think we are around this week's close, so flat, so 50/50 whether we tango up or down.
Luckily, we get to watch Asia, and there may be pent up demand, and maybe a lot with the low prices, PLUS the known volatility in European AND USA trading of this contract, AND a structure that appears typical to relative lows.
Your idea was my first instinct, for the same reason, so, we'll see, but I have a whole down routine planned to beat the spirit in the machine, just in case. SMH
