Yes, the battle between bulls and bears is raging.
FWIW, I think it's more the battle between human reason (65% of investors, yet) and the quant algorithms of funds like Renaissance Technologies and big banks (now 35% of trading volume, and rising) that are driving the markets in the direction where they are taking advantage of the other side to the max, regardless of what is happening in the world right now.

@ReallyMe, Even though I'd partially agree with you on this one, this remains a subjective point of view and therefore we'll very likely never know the truth ! That's why I'll avoid getting too far into trying to explain why, but instead focus on how to deal with it !

@PRO_Indicators, Absolutely! I agree with that. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter against whom you lose your money, against the other traders or against the other quant algorithms. The important thing is that you do not lose, or even win. Otherwise you should let it be from the beginning. "He who cannot dance blames the floor for being crooked."
