The reason behind giveways of coins on utube

Long
BITMEX:ETHUSD   None
Hi

I was scouring youtube to get to the Strange part of youtube when i stumble a press conference by Vitalik Buterin titled "something2 ETH GIVEWAYS" and today the same with LTC
So the procedure was simple :

1. you need to have x amount of ETH
2. you will need to send to a specific eth address
3. it will be hold for process and you will get higher amount of ETH lets say 6 ETH (I DONT REMEMBER)
4. The more u have the more send the more they will give u back
5. Subject to availability if they finished 1k if im not wrong eth giveways, your eth will be returned as the original value you sent them.

What they are doing is basically are :
1. hodling your coins so you cant sell them,
2. incentives you for doing so
3. creating a surge of ETH BUY

Why?

As you can see on the monthly chart, ETH has failed to create a Higher high (HH) BUT it still not yet to create a Lower LOW (LL).
As we know in chart lower HH and lower LL = down trend,
At this point ETH cant risk to get pass the last lower low as passing that will confirm a downtrend and risk the coins to be no value at all in the future (GOD forbid)

So if you think about it they are doing this for your own and their good. Holding you coins until critical point is pass, incentives you for doing so and increase the eth value when they give it all back to you.
One things that i dont know is this, is flooding the market with ETH is the best possible outcome to overcome this problem ? as we know that more supply that demand will drag the price back down. yet, this is Buterin we talking about, that person is different level in brain power compared to me, so yeah i think he will think of something ... love live ETH ...
I wish the same for btc in critical moment, satoshi suddenly re appear and do all this on BTC. Slim change it will happen !! XD

so there you go i hope all this make sense and its only my humble opinion
Lets me know if you guys agree or not
lets discuss on this guys !

Cheers
