damn, so helpful. bookmarked for future. Didnt understand the last one about alt coins- what is BB SAR TEMA and what are you trying to show with the chart? Thanks
FrondFarmer
@moonshot, I'm a beginner, too, and I was delighted to discover the 3 Indicators you asked about, which are all available on TradingView using the Indicators
menu at the top of the screen, and going to 'built-ins':

BB = Bollinger Bands
SAR = Parabolic Stop and Reverse
TEMA = Triple Exponential Moving Average

When you scroll down the Built-ins list, you'll see an 'i' in a circle to the right of each title, which you can click on to get a fairly detailed definition/explanation.

I've been using BB and SAR by default for all of my Forex charts for the past year or so, and have continued to use them for my Crypto charting as well. I'm not
as familiar with TEMA, although it's in the same "family" as the other Moving Average indicators (generally speaking), and may reflect different conditions than the others.

Good luck, and trade safely!

@FrondFarmer, Thanks for filling in the blanks on the indicators for @moonshot. Also @TradingView has some pretty good built in indicators, just be careful (moonshot) in terms of using or relying on them. Most indicators lag behind price.
moonshot
@Mayfair_Ventures, yeah I use MACD and EMAs mostly. I’ll play around with BB and keep in mind the “lag”. Thanks again
