Many "pro"s here are clueless, talking about "rising triangle" or "pennant". I don't know where they learned TA, but triangles are mid-term patterns and pennants are short-term ones. You don't look at an eight-month period and say triangle or pennant (which is even more ridiculous than triangle). These are the larger shifts in trends. I happen to think ETH may fall. BUT even if it rises, it would mean that ETH avoids a full retracement and starts a new trend.
