With the Consensus 2017 (blockchain technology summit) taking place between May 22-24, the ETH price has been experiencing an upwards trend. The trend is only to further go upwards (my opinion) with the Token Summit event happening on May 25, 2017. I expect the price of ETH to rise to $250 USD (minimum 240) by the end of the week.

With Coinbase's recent technical issues fixed, the trading volumes should return to normal and possibly rise upwards again with the amount of new traders entering the space. News of Ethereum is spreading and we should see a larger increase in trading leading up into the months of June-September (with all the new Ethereum news being announced). This current downtrend shows to be only temporary when viewing the past ups and downs of ETH.
