RSI dropping below 30 on the daily is my buy signal. I don't put the order in immediately. I wait to spot a true bottom and I'm okay catching it on the uptick or I set the price I'm happy with regardless if it goes lower than what I set. Sometimes you can't watch the charts. When I believe in a coin and I short it when high on the RSI, I usually set an 8% buy back. If I sold 1 ETH at $700. I set up to buy 1.08 ETH at $644. I may adjust the percent buy back to be more conservative or less, and may ladder the buys so that if they all hit, I would average 8% on the buyback. I try to keep it simple for myself.
