ETH is being squeezed into a pressure zone where horizontal resistance and a rising trendline are colliding — and that kind of compression rarely ends quietly.
Why This Level Matters: Price has been grinding inside a rising channel since early March, repeatedly tagging the same horizontal resistance near 2,400 while higher lows compress below it. This is a classic pressure zone — two opposing forces tightening until one side breaks. The daily structure has not yet confirmed a break, but the setup is maturing fast. Volume is fading into resistance, and momentum on the oscillator is diverging — sellers are loading.
Primary Scenario: We are not shorting blindly into the channel. The confirmation we need is a clean daily close below the rising trendline support, currently near the 2,274 area. Once that break is confirmed, we sell any retest of the broken trendline as new resistance. The market structure shift (MSB) on the daily would flip bias firmly bearish, and continuation lower becomes the primary path. A secondary scenario where price pushes slightly above 2,400 to grab liquidity before reversing is possible — but the break and retest remains our trigger regardless.
Targets and Invalidation:
🎯 First target: 2,000 psychological level.
🎯 Final target: 1,742 — the major demand zone visible on the chart.
⬆️ Invalidation: A daily close above 2,465 resistance voids the bearish scenario entirely.
