This post is to talk about starting your trading journey and trading the Asian session. To many of us, the Asian session could be called the least active and least volatile market. This is proven above, Asian sessions are green, LN and NY sessions are red.
When I started trading and to this day, I have learnt that I take my losses in the Asian session most of the time, and this is down to low volume, meaning the market can be manipulated fully at ease. I am making this post to help beginners and less experienced intra-day traders understand the movement of this session.
Personally, I use the Asian session to have my supply/demand zones marked out for the London and New York session, and aim to avoid trading the Asian Session. This is not advice on how to trade, however, I wanted people to be aware of how the Asian session moves, and to be weary when trading.
