I, personally, first look for a target to take my profit. Once I know where I want to take profits I set my stop according to the RiskReward that works for me. Tight stops only work when I have a great deal of confirmation and the trade meets very specific criteria

hey do you follow any set of rules for determining where to place your stops? I'm finding in forex, market has alot more noise and tight stops don't work as well.
