How I’m Reading This EUR/JPY Breakout Attempt

EUR/JPY has driven aggressively into a higher‑timeframe supply zone after grinding higher along a sharp intraday trendline. Price is now testing that overhead resistance where sellers previously stepped in, but this time the upside leg has been much cleaner, with very little meaningful pullback on the way up.

For me, this is the spot where the market decides whether this move becomes a true breakout or just another rejection from the same ceiling. If buyers can hold price above this zone and the trendline doesn’t give way immediately, there’s room for continuation; if we start to see exhaustion and heavier selling, it quickly turns into a fade‑the‑break scenario instead.

Right now, my focus is less on predicting and more on reacting: let the level confirm whether EUR/JPY can accept higher prices, then either join the breakout with defined risk or wait for a cleaner retest lower before getting involved.
