A lot of potentials on the radar for tonight/tomorrow, one of which being a potential bullish Gartley pattern on the EURUSD             .

Hi Akil.... Firstly, thanks for all the hard work you and the guys at trade empowered do....I'm new to trading and I've found the education I've gained through all your training material over the last 6months invaluable!!!! Thanks again and keep up the great work. Quick question.....I had a quick look at my charts this morning before I left for work......would I be right in saying this gartley failed to complete (no c leg completion...crossing .786 invalidating it!!) at least that's what I'm seeing. Many thanks in advance

Was this actually a gartley? Seems like a lot of guessing and limiting oneself to a single timeframe instead of using them all together.

i am just asking why not. on the 15min the x-a leg is choppy but as of this moment it hit the .382...just asking for advice not copying trades.

There is something here a lot of traders haven't learned. #1. All patterns are graphical representations of either accumulation or distribution (which is what changes momentum). #2 Fib levels only show you levels of significant support and resistance. If a trader cannot put together that momentum begins changing long before we approach levels, then that trader will have a very hard time being consistent.

I disagree, the trader will only be successful If he has a backtested trading plan with a positive outcome and THEN trade the plan without hesitation. Thats the simple formula.
