EXK is one of the better silver miners from what I’ve read and listened to lately. I thought I was slick getting in at that first daily bottom around $1.90 and cashing out a little over $2…joke’s on me. After the second bottom this one really took off after silver began playing catch up. It’s had a healthy retrace since silver topped out (short term, we hope) and looks to be setting up for another long.
Plan: This will be a 4h chart entry unless the retrace continues and price falls below the 50 SMA on the daily. I’m looking for price to close above the 50 SMA and an upward cross of the 9 EMA on the RSI midline (set levels to 50 instead of 80/20). Stop loss will be 1.5x ATR at time of entry.
Scroll left a few years and see the potential for this one. Would be great to get in early if we’re truly getting into a PM bull market.
