FSLR: Aggressive long...long term implications Long

First Solar, Inc.NASDAQ

Description

I like FSLR here, I've been buying gradually for the last few days, but looking to also take a shorter term position here. It might be a good spot to buy long term OTM calls, but you can also go long with a tight stop if today we see a new daily high. If you are not positioned and looking for exposure to solar, then a 1-10% long term position built gradually during a few days up to a month would be ideal for you. Long term, the chart implies we could go to $400 without much problems.

A reminder of why solar is so bullish here: greentechmedia.com/articles/read/new-tax-bill-offers-unexpected-benefits-to-commercial-solar-installations

Best of luck,

Ivan Labrie.

Comment

#FSLR appears to have bottomed, should be safe to hodl

Comment

#FSLR could base here until earnings, but if it breaks up next week it has upside to 57.74 rather quickly

Ok so... long story short, Ivan, thank you. I really want everybody to know that, thanks to you I´ve bought calls on FSLR and made today almost 300%. That was a beast, monster hunch. The force is strong in you master! :) Love from Portugal
IvanLabrie
@kashimura, great, you can bank those and buy back on dips shortly after, once you get that high five/pat in the back impulse. (if trading short term)
kashimura
@IvanLabrie, ohh thats a great ideia!!! You continue to look at itnext week?
Thank you again Master Jedi :) if you ever come to portugal i'll buy you a beer or 2 or 5 ;)

Nice work Ivan ...!!! Maybe it could be good to c the monthly chart that it point to 59.70 area if rebound ...!! Regards
IvanLabrie
@rigoazul10, thanks, it looks like it's bottoming here, I hold since it's a long term entry, need to give it some margin of error.

What do you think about current valuation?
IvanLabrie
@Spofas, it broke below long term support, this is a very risky chart to trade. I'd leave it alone.

Go ivan!!!! Love your work man! Thank you for your kind free updates <333 :D
