I got asked what my favorite Altcoin is. Right now it's FunFair. While AlanMaster's has posted on this, I have been in this for longer than that and I do have a heavy position in it for full disclaimer.
I don't know what you have heard about it but FunFair ultimately aims to be the technology behind Casino's, not a casino themselves. While they are certainly going to have a casino that operates, that's not their end game. Which makes the potential of Funfair massive. Technically it looks pretty close to BTC, doesn't it? Hmmm... But for me, this is more fundamental and here's why:
1. There is no hype around it. This is important. When I hear too much hype about a coin it can be concerning. I have had a couple brief chats with the CEO Jez on telegram and they aren't about hyping it. They are about running a BUSINESS. Most of all the other coins out there are based on hopes, unicorns and dreams. You know the crap I am talking about it. Funfair has a bloody business model and lots of reserves to run it.
2. The team is Solid. Check it out, a freakin army working for them - funfair.io/how-it-works/our-team/ Jez also has been running gaming companies since the 80's. He's got the experience to make it work.
3. Gambling license Other coins have gotten easy licenses in locations that anyone can get *cough* edgeless *cough*. Funfair is playing with the BIG BOYS. They have had operating licenses in the past. They currently have a license pending with the UK. If that goes through, we are mooning. Want to track that? What do you think funfair is going to do if they get licensed in the UK?
These are the reasons I am comfortable holding it through dips or any market turmoil, which we might get again. But the main reason is I feel like I am investing in a legitimate BUSINESS, not hype, not fantasies, but something that has already been established. IF they get that license approved they will start moving and quick. this will be a 10 bagger if not much much more. If you have some money to forget about and throw at it, I would. If we get another dip it would be a GREAT buying opportunity and great trading opp.

@Sherem, I would like to hear your opinion on what do you think about Crypto Exchanges, do you think that they will be for a long time around, or they might disappear from the market?

@neonma, They will be around for a while, it's too convenient for there not to be an exchange. Crypto needs to make some serious steps before something like that becomes decentralized.

@Sherem, thank you for the input. In this case I would like to find out another opinion of yours about what would you consider a long term investment in a cryptocurrency in general? Especially when it comes to FunFair token, with such a huge available supply of tokens, my opinion could be wrong but, I believe that it will take quiet some years until that token will rise to a t least $1.
Even though, the regulations are starting to welcome the tech behind it.

@neonma, I would agree with the token supply that it will take a while. Long-Term normally for me would in crypto would be 1-2 years. However, I am willing to hold for as long as it takes in regards to FunFair.
