As for other influences, these will do. I read other authors and learnt from many other traders since I began trading in 2008. But just these fit my style the most. Of course, you'd better know the Fibs inside out (R. Miner, C. Boroden, C. Brown, J. DiNapoli), and find your way through the pitchforks and their parallels. There's a lot you can learn frm Tim Morge and Shane Blankenship, not just about the median lines, but about watching the market behaviour, the pervasive trend, the underlying force, the energy being accumulated and then expended, the compression of a coil spring, etc.
However, all the above is the second leg to stand upon; the first one is you and your psychological strength to trade professionally. Here you can turn to such authors as: Van K Tharp, Brett N. Steenbarger and Rande Howell.
