GBPCAD- Potential longterm Long oppurtunity

Looking at the daily TF, price has broken a significant resistance level and also a donwtrend line.
We can expect a upward move towards to the previous resistance which is also meeting a trend line drawn from previous high levels.

Possiblities are there that the price before going up can retest the downtrend line once more and then up.
