GBPNZD has been in a long term down trend but recently has been flirting with the idea of breaking out from this well defined trend. I like to see big price moves in short time periods as this indicates a strong tendency to return to the price level before the big move. I call it the offer and echo wave. When a big price move happens - it is the offer wave....the market picking one direction over the other...then there is the rebound or the echo wave which returns the price right back to where it started...
