20TH - 24TH JUNE POST-BREXIT WEEKLY WRAPUP & UPDATES (PT. 2)
I release a Weekly Wrapup & Update every week to all my subscribers on my website. I am re-posting it here but in a limited form due to posting restrictions. I am also splitting this post in parts as it is too long to post in one post. So this is Part 1 of this post. Look for Part 2. if you have interest in seeing the rest of it. GBPUSD
So this is one of the pairs that was directed and sharply affected by the Brexit result. And as a result of the LEAVE vote, we saw sterling take a nose dive. But guess what? if you look at the previous week's chart (below left) that is what was expected! Another drop down! Now, I didn't anticipate that large of a drop but another leg down is what was expected to happen. To be 100% upfront, I was expecting that prices would drop BEFORE the vote and then see the vote to REMAIN happen and resultingly to see prices jump UP from there. But leading up to the vote, prices DID NOT drop but instead rose up and never made the expected drop down until AFTER the vote. So that is why I am saying that the chart predicted the LEAVE vote. But now that it's "over", according to the chart, we should be seeing a move back up. This is another pair that was directly affected by the Brexit. But again, the Brexit pretty much followed what was expected of it pre-Brexit by my chart analysis. If you look at my 4HR chart from the previous week, you will see that I was expecting that the EURUSD would drop. And that is EXACTLY what happened during the Brexit.

NZDUSD Brexit pushed prices up and out of the contracting diagonal extending the leg E. This is common price action before a reversal.
