Chart of a Hoarding trader :0)

British Pound/U.S. DollarFXCM

Description

Keep your chart simple. Period. Most indicators or oscillators are somewhat similar to each other. Find one that suit you, study it and learn everything about it like if you were the one that created it. Trading view is amazing site for traders to talk or share ideas, but some of us are hoarding their screen like the way you fill your house with junk. I do hoard a bit by the way...lol

I think 90% of charts on here are reflective of this - analysis paralysis. If you throw enough lines and indicators on a chart you'll find a reason to justify your trade. Great example of what not to do

I love your sense of humor - there are candle bars somewhere in there :)

its not my chart. I was showing an example of what I see from other traders. I mainly use Pivot points and stochastic.

Not sure if your chart is an example of what not to do, or how you actually use a chart. I can't read the charts by site members. Way too cluttered, and I simply don't use any indicators or oscillators, other than an occasional moving average. My charts are marked with a few key support and resistance levels, current consolidations, and a trend line or two. Everything one needs is already on the chart. Filtering price through so many gizmos is no way to understand what is right in front of you. People can't keep it simple because they are frightened by the relentless uncertainty of the market. Markets really can not be predicted, only followed.

i think your chart is missing the most important indicator - price :)

dude, is this your idea of keeping a chart simple or an example of what not to do?
