When I chart, I look for the less obvious most of the time, when i think most give too much weight to what "everyone" is watching. I spend a lot of time on things that aren't really there, but for the times this research does pay off, it is usually big, because it is what t he Bog Money is doing. So here we see thew "C"'s of the abcd patterns align, as well as the D's, to form a channel. This also lines up with ECB and FOMC time frames, and what those meeting results could do to GOLD and the markets. I also think a small boost to the markets is the goal of the ECB meeting, and the FOMC, but it will be short lived, due to the overwhelming world economy contraction (which I believe the US simply cannot support on its own) and geopolitical issues. So I look to sell my position in NUGT and GLD this week when the MACD reaches overbought and before we reach the next D. I look to re enter that trade in the 1250 zone (ish), when it should see some support. This prediction is further out than I usually look, but the number of coincidences here increases my trade possibilities for this to happen. That being said, the volatility now makes all my posts subject to the UNKNOWN and ready at the mouse button to exit a position quickly. Scary thought... How liquid is your broker? i.e. FXCM bailout because of the Swiss currency move. And if you are on the right side of the trade when (sorry that's IF) we have Gold spike, markets flash crash (which is coming soon) , can they make good on your money? What good is an I O U? And if it takes a week or ten days for them to issue you a check now, how long will it take for them to release your money, or the percentage of it they will allow, or whoever bails them out will allow. Can you say, Margin calls unreplied to in mass? These currency wars cannot end good. Individual battles, like many stones thrown in a pond, causing ripples, effecting the other ripples, creating waves crashing against each other, resulting in chaos, which will end badly for all, creating a need to come together, form a one world currency, digital of course, (brick and mortar banks gone) a one world body to govern, and no one can buy or sell without using it. Gold will of course spike on the way there, but what will happen to gold then, will it be confiscated for the general good, and all other things to trade with banished? Barter will always exist.
