Hi wz28, such volatile market, Gold declined without reason firstly and then Gold recovered quickly when there are so many reasons to sell, very volatile.
maybe better to see real breakout both in Gold (1300) and GDX (23.5), it's so risky now to buy or sell without final confirmation of big direction from both Fundamental side and Technical side.

will be interesting to see if it breaks out. I would think if it did, gold would have to break 1295-1300 for GDX to stay above the descending triangle. Will get very interesting but it sure points to a breakout here
