General Electric Co 59$? Long

GE AerospaceNYSE

Description

Dear friends, the fundamental analysis is not my strong point. Could you tell me what fundamental factors are impeding growth of General Electric Co?
Charts do not show any reasons for sluggish dynamics we have been witnessing since November 2013.
General Electric Co has been steadily rising since 2009. From October to November 2013, the stock broke through a 14-year falling trend. Later, it did not receive any impetus to continue to move upward and got stuck. What boredom!
Nevertheless, stock often accumulates strength for a breakthrough this way. I believe the equities may rocket toward at least USD 32 or even USD 59 (an upward projection of a falling trend of the year 2000). I believe it is possible to make selective purchases of the shares with long-term targets. Investors are strongly advised to watch for the ongoing rising trend. If the stock slips out of this trend, it may plunge to lows of 2009.

GE has followed a strategy of reducing financial services businesses while increasing its tech and industrial base. Sales of GECC components such as overseas real estate investment/lending, Genworth Insurance a few years ago, Synchronicity recently, GE credit card division, exemplify this reduction in exposure. Growing top line revenues while reducing costs to carry have posed a challenge. Share price jumps when top line revenues grow with EPS.
