Dax Week 33 - 21/08/21

Dear Tradingviewers,
This week, I offer my analysis of the movements of $GER30 during the week and my outlook for next week.
Have nice reading and be pleased to comment if you want.

First, some warnings:
Please remember that you can have losses while trading.
Thus, always trade with a trading plan.
I wanted to share this link with you:

It is a very interesting article. Moreover, you have also a complete free trading academy on this website in order to help you in managing your risk if you are interested in it.

So, what happened last week?

During all the start of the week, investors were waiting for the minutes of the FED meeting. Just after the release of the document, the mention of the tapering push all the indices down. Then, small waves occurred waiting for the end of the week.

What did I do?

At the beginning of the week, I already had important position on GER30. Nevertheless, when I saw the mention of tapering, I had a position with a leverage x10 in order to make some more profits from this opportunity.
Then, on Thursday, I progressively closed almost all my positions on $GER30.
And I am now getting ready for a new wave which could occur at the moment of Jackson Hole.

What are my perspectives for next week?

In my opinion, it will be a week with some waves... opportunities to make some profits during the fall and the rise. I am expecting a rise at the end of the Jackson Hole symposium when Jerome Powell will address a new dovish message to the market.

What to follow next week?

Globally (still the same):

- ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ Variant Delta is spreading all around Europe - A GREEN pass is currently spreading all around Europe. I am not taking position on this measure. Nevertheless, I am not convinced by the efficiency of this strategy and I think this "possibly wrong" strategy may finish in new lockdowns;
I would appreciate your opinion on the GREEN PASS strategy, don't hesitate to comment.
- Inflation: still important to follow accurately;
- The US 10 years interest rates (which could also have an impact on $NSDQ100) are still very low;
- The transaction volumes were very low this week.

Day by day:
- Monday: Manufacturing PMI day (Japan, France, Germany, Eurozone, UK and US), Eurozone Consumer Confidence
- Tuesday: German GDP;
- Wednesday: German Ifo Business Climate Index, US Core Durable Goods Orders, US Crude Oil Inventories;
- Thursday: GfK German Consumer Climate, ECB Publishes Account of Monetary Policy Meeting, US FED Jackson Hole symposium, US GDP and US Initial Jobless Claims;
- Friday: US Core PCE Price Index and PCE Price Index.

I wish you a good trading week,
Please feel free to ask me questions, I will be glad to connect with you over the comments or by private messages.
Stay safe,
Alexandre
