Bro! I noticed that your indicator only had a few closed trades. So, for your indicator, I recommend that you only buy the stock indices. Do not sell them. In you trade forex, then it is ok to buy and sell, buy on larger time frames, such as daily or weekly, but go for a small profit percentage and a tiny risk.
@Rocketman, its true that u see only a small number of closed trades, however these are the only automated trades that were picked by strategy compiler. If you look at the chart, you can see the total number of signals both short and long, I programmed my indicators to detect both buy and sell signals, but the strategy on the other hands was programmed to test only short positions. if you have a look at the list of trades, you will only see short positions. It just that my own preference is to short, and rarely I go long. It's all about what u feel comfortable with. It's not advisable to only go short or go long on any securities, or forex or commodities, you will need to be reactive not predictive to what price is gonna do next, no one can see what gonna happen in the future neither any indicator can. However, an indicator, if programmed correctly, can analyse current price movement using mathematical formulas that keeps looping till conditions are true or false and accordingly prints signals on chart, so If you trade these manually, which is what I actually do, then you will have tons of signals both buy and sell to trade.
@Mamou-Q, You can private message me. Maybe I will be interested in joining it. haha! There are several programs out there like that, but I do not really need funding. Well, it depends on what is offered.
@Mamou-Q, MyFXbook is like a beginner's trading journal. If you do not have one, then people will think that you are not a really a serious trader or just some salesman. Yes, I have a trading journal. It is one of the first things you should have as a business.
@Rocketman, well , im technically a beginner, I have only one year of experience, painful experience. blowing up a 100k account. but I never regret it for a moment , it was the motivation to all what I have reached so far.
