Of course, some followers were pissed that they totally missed it ! So, they blamed themselves hard for missing an opportunity of a lifetime. If only........then.........Self -criticism, envy, bitterness, anger, frustration, all sorts of negative emotions engulfed them like a swarm of bees heading to the hives......
My post is here for those who are not yet my followers. I don't know if it makes you feel better that I too, missed it but I am not pissed. WHY ?
The reasons are simple. If I had partaked in this and got lucky with it, which I had in the past, then I would credit 100% to my cleverness in spotting the right stock, my strategy and all (may be 5%) and bloated my self confidence. Do you think I would stop and retire? Of course not, I would take the winnings and double down on the next GAMESTOP CORPORATION I can find. And would I be as lucky as the first time ? Who knows ? Since this is a game of the future, anything is possible.
You see, we like to dwell in the rosy part of winnings, that is good, awesome, nothing wrong with it.The other important part is the losing , which some traders brush it aside as being negative, low or no confidence,etc. I like to term it as being prudent , responsible trading.
I prefer to count my blessings, one too many furnished by God to me while I missed the stratospheric gain of Gamestop such as Baozun, ZA Online, HSI
, Yeahka, Wilmar just to name a few.
The risks are diversified across different sectors and countries so at any point in time, the chances of a total collapse is almost 99.99% impossible (unless another global meltdown).
The worst part of living in an online world is convenience and accessibility. We can now get information , dangerous one sometimes at nanoseconds speed and stressful humans are coerced to make decisions there and then. The fear of missing out is so great ! Like the latest coffee joint that is just around your office corner and all your colleagues had been there and is the talking point, you felt pressured for not patronising the store yet and feel obligated to. WHY this need to compare with others ?
WE forgot the important fact that God creates each and everyone of us in a unique way, no two beings are totally alike (even twins). Our latent potential lies within us and is our lifetime mission to go discover it and shine to the world, contributing to the society and make earth a better place for all to live.
PEACE is knowing each day, you get to wake up and able to start your life afresh, never mind what mistakes you had made yesterday or how sucks your grades were. Who cares , really ? Unless you keep bragging about it.......
And that is the point - bragging, with social media so rampant, any tiny weeny bits of information can be shared online. We read about how famous this 14 year old teenager is in this country and is already a millionaire and the readers want to emulate him. So they also start to upload videos and get followers. But the journey is tough and a long one as the barriers to entry is ultra low. Anyone can do it , from the rural village to the guy who speaks his native language in his country.
PEACE is knowing you have a roof over your head. It may not be the bungalow or comes with a pool or jacuzzi but it keeps you safe and most important of all, your loved ones are housed here.
PEACE is able to go to school , to learn new things although you may from time to time hated it and want to get out of the system. I had been there so I can totally relate.
And if you have a career or job that you like doing, are passionate about ,then you are already very blessed compared to the millions who are out of job, in transition or being retrenched.
Don't go for the one hit wonder , much like the jackpot game. That is based on pure luck but I like to believe that my faith with God will provide me with abundant opportunities to make money through trading and investment. People asked how I spot companies and all ,actually I do not have a software to track nor do I rely on PE ratios and all.
And no, I am not being mysterious coz such simple , plain method of mine is considered boring to many. If I happened to watch the news and something interesting caught my attention, I take note of it. Then, days or weeks later, it might be connected to another thing/activity that I am doing and a 3rd idea sparks off.
For example, I realised that even with the Covid 19 vaccine, it is not going to be sunshine after the storm. We see more and more cases in UK, HK, India, Indonesia, etc and the governments worldwide are gravely concerned. One , the fear of its people - never a good thing and second - the local economy being hard hit. Therefore, I bought more into Moderna as well and expecting it to go even higher this year.
Already, I have some followers wanting me to coach them one one one basis to learn the trades of investment and trading but I have declined some as I feel they do not have the right mindset. They want the fish but not to learn to fish. In TV, I have , imo , provided more than enough fishes for all to pick and choose. Different sectors, countries, products, etc. So, there is no need to pay me money to give you more fishes.
But, if you want to learn and make this a 2nd source of income, then it is a different story. You need to have the right mindset, balancing risks and gain and having a healthy timeline to achieve it. Those keen, please PM me.
Therefore, in conclusion, much like Tesla, Bitcoin , etc there would always be another high flying product out there to lure many traders and the last one who catches it pay for all. Are you going to bet your luck that you won't be the last ? Are you OK if you are the last and lose that sum of capital you stashed away ? Can you sleep peacefully at night knowing in less than a day, you had lost this sum of money and are prepared to come back again , not with a vengeance but to learn from the market ?
Being pissed at something is in someway good. It makes you alert , attentive but you gotta see the bigger picture. For me, I need to constantly humble myself that all gains that I had thus far are the blessings from GOD and I am merely his custodian of this material wealth on earth. My role is to empower more people to do the same if not better than me so he can passed down this skills. And when you look upon the Creator and gives him the glory , you are not blinded by the inevitable sidewalks of temporary lusts and temptations......

anyone who chased the high at above 350 and still holds on to this shares would have lost 7x of his invested capital.........Regardless, a STOP LOSS is a MUST , good to be confident but NOT overconfident
