GME (reddit report)

It appears the SEC is listening to our requests. The SEC is reportedly closing down dark pools. Someone on reddit by the name of u/vLVw8MFI4P7SL2g9AW7u discovered this while browsing the NYSE webpage. The NYSE were the ones that placed the request for the shutdown to be implemented in 14 days. u/dlauer has posted since then and noted that "NYSE has nothing to do with dark pools. NYSE is a lit exchange regulated under the Exchange Act, while dark pools are "Alternative Trading Systems" regulated completely differently (a combination of the SEC and FINRA)."
